We are your local radio station for the beautiful and historic market town of Beverley and the surrounding area in the East Riding of Yorkshire.
Beverley FM has been broadcasting since 2015 and is staffed entirely by volunteers who bring a variety of music and speech programs throughout the week including local news and content, interviews with local people, businesses and musicians. We also cover local sport with a live program on Saturdays.
Our volunteers are a mixture of ex-radio professionals and people who had never set foot inside a radio studio before until they walked into Beverley FM and caught the bug! Our well-equipped studio complex in Beverley town centre is the envy of many professional stations. We offer advertising packages for local businesses at great value for money and we’re always looking for new people to join us, so why not see what Beverley FM can do for you? Visit our Contact Us page and get in touch, we’d love to hear from you!

David Fewster had a dream of building a radio station to serve the community in his home town. The dream became a reality in 2015 when Beverley FM was launched with David at the helm. He inspired many people to take their first steps into the world of radio and was a true inspiration to us all.
David passed away on 18th October 2023 and left an outstanding legacy for us to build on.

One of the things that we are very proud of here at Beverley FM is the wide range of themed music programmes we broadcast throughout the week. Not only do we play a fantastic selection of classic oldies and current hits throughout the day, we also have a host of specialised music programmes locally produced for the listener who might only have an interest in country or jazz music or whatever. Click on the picture to find out just what we have on offer and when they are broadcast.

Here at Beverley FM our aim is to help motorists have all the information they need to drive at an appropriate and safe speed within the legal limit. To raise awareness of the mobile speed camera locations, Safer Roads Humber publish the daily enforcement schedule every week on their website here.
We have plenty of roles available at Beverley FM! One key role is office administrators – the people who actually keep us running and full of content and interviews during our main shows.

Do you have one or two mornings available per week to dedicate to answering the phones, arranging and confirming interviews, writing emails, welcoming on-air guests, and keeping the place tidy? We would love to hear from you. Get in touch now by emailing studio@beverleyfm.com
