This evening will be an evening of firsts for Beverley Town. The first home game in the NCEL, the first game under the new floodlights, as well as Dave Ricardo’s first home game since retaking charge as manager of Town. It has been an excellent start to the season for Ricardo’s men with three wins from three games, only conceding for the first time on Saturday in the 2-1 victory over Parkgate. Visiting Norwood is Rossington Main. Main made the play-off place last season and will look to do the same this. So far they have won two from three, including an excellent 4-0 win over Selby on the opening day.

North Ferriby have been awarded this the Local Sports Team of the Weekend following their 2-0 victory over Hallam on Saturday. Today they are away from home for the first time this season. Ferriby have won all three of their games this season without conceding a goal and are early leaders in the NCEL Premier League. Eccleshill play host to the Villagers and sit second with two wins and a defeat in the league so far. North Ferriby have provided a full preview of the game.

Hull City travel to Burnley this evening. The Tigers have had an excellent start to the season in the league, with two wins and a draw. For the second game in succession City take on opposition who were in the Premier League last season. Shota Arveladze will still be without key midfielder Seri. Burnley have had a mixed start to the season under new leadership from Vincent Kompany. The Clarets have also had a large turnover of players two but managed four points from the opening three games. Hull FC and Hull KR will both be without two key men for their upcoming games thanks to the rulings from the RFL. The Black and Whites have lost prop, Kane Evans and play-maker Jake Connor for a game each for “Other Contrary Behaviour” during the 60-6 defeat at home to St Helens on Sunday. The Robins will be without Ethan Ryan and Matt Parcell to a one-match suspension each, picked up during the 28-20 loss to Leeds Rhinos.
