Hull City suffered a surprise defeat at the hands of League Two Bradford City last night. The Tigers had a poor showing for much of the 90 minutes with the only flash of quality coming from Turkish midfielder Ozan Tufan. Tufan opened the scoring with a strike from the edge of the area, which was tipped onto the bar and bounced off the back of the unfortunate keeper. Two goals in quick succession from the Bantams forward Andy Cook was City’s undoing. For a report on Bradford City 2-1 Hull, follow the link.
Hull FC have added to their 2023 squad by announcing the signing of versatile back-rower Liam Sutcliffe. Sutcliffe will add plenty of experience to FC’s ranks after making over 200 Super League appearances for his current side, Leeds Rhinos. The lively centre is only 27 and will hope to be playing at the peak of his game while at FC. Despite signing for the Black and Whites he will be involved in the playoff race which includes Leeds, FC, KR and Salford. The Rhinos are expected to including him in their line-up against the Robins this Friday.
