Crews from Beverley Fire Station will be pulling a 14-ton fire engine around the town this Saturday, March 19, in an effort to raise money for vital supplies and equipment for Ukranian refugees. They will set off from the fire station around 11am and then head via New Walkergate, Railway Street, Lairgate and Hengate before arriving at the Market Cross on Saturday Market.
Money raised will go to the Ukraine Humanitarian Appeal set up by the Disasters Emergency Committee. In addition to collecting on the day, a Just Giving page has been set up and has already raised more than £130.
