On the Thursday Night Fixture this evening our reporter Tom Cavanagh has been speaking to Beverley Town (football club) manager Mike Thompson on various topics both on and off the pitch. Cavanagh has also been talking to Brian Gilbert, the chairman of Beverley RUFC about a return of Rugby and an upcoming fundraiser.

Firstly, Mike Thompson spoke about last weeks 4-2 victory away at East Riding Rangers.

The Town manager had plenty of praise for the new 4G facilities built at Beverley Leisure Centre.

Finally, Thompson commended the tireless work of the Beverley Town FC committee.

Brian Gilbert was delighted to see a return of Rugby Union to Beverley following 18 months away.

This week is a trip to Old Crossleyans for Beverley.

The Rugby Club have also organised a fundraiser in October.
