Hull Kingston Rovers return to action this evening against Toulouse Olympique. A victory for the Robins would all but end relegation worries and potentially start a playoff push. Olympique sits bottom of the table despite being in some good form, however, lost last time out against Hull FC 30-6. When the two sides last met KR were dominated by the French side and it saw the end of the Tony Smith era in East Hull.

Interim Head Coach, Danny McGuire, has made five changes to the 20-man squad, bolstered by the return of captain, Shaun Kenny-Dowall, as well as Matty Storton, Jimmy Keinhorst and Frankie Halton, whilst Korbin Sims is back from suspension. Four of the five players to miss out from last week’s squad which lost at Wigan are injured. Sam Royle has been recalled by St Helens following injury issues for the table-toppers.

Hull FC have announced the retention of Mitieli Vulikijapani for the 2023 season. The outside back has made 18 appearances for the Black and Whites scoring 6 tries in the process. Read more…

East Riding Futsal Club head coach Dave Lawtey has picked up yet another award following an incredibly successful season. Lawtey has been named as the ‘Adult Coach of the Year’ at the Grassroots Football Awards. The Black and Yellow’s gained promotion to Tier 2 at the end of last season.

Hull Seahawks have made another addition to their squad for the 2022/23 season. Forward, Shaun Galloway joins the newly formed Ice Hockey team. Read more…
