PR: Silsden vs North Ferriby

North Ferriby Fc return to action as they travel to Silsden on Tuesday night. As with the rest of the footballing world, the Villagers game against Bottesford was postponed in honour of Queen Elizabeth.

The Villagers currently sit in second place. Bolder’s side are still unbeaten in the league. Their last game ended their 100% league record as a last-minute equaliser denied them all three points at Garforth.

Bolder summed up his thoughts of the game at Garforth, “”we have watched the game back and we controlled the game for the first seventy minutes, we didn’t kill the game and we got punished at the end. With our performance in the last twenty minutes, we got what we deserved”.

Silsden currently sit in 6th place and last time out beat Yorkshire Amateur 2-1.

Last season, under the guidance of previous manager Danny Forrest, finished 13th.

The game at Silsden is the sixth away game Bolder’s side face in a row. When asked to sum up his overall thoughts of the game, Chris Bolder said, “after no game on Saturday we head to Silsden on Tuesday night for the longest away trip of the season, which will be our 6th away game on the bounce. We did get together and have a productive session over the weekend so hopefully, we will go there being able to implement the things we want from the lads. It has been really difficult to get our passing game going in recent weeks due to the surfaces we have played on, but we have still picked up positive results”

Bolder summed up the team news for the game, “Adam Bolder is unavailable but we will have a strong squad to choose from and it was great to see both Lewis (Exall) and Jordan (Douglas) come through training with no issues”
