PR: Hall Road vs Rainworth Miners

Hall Road Rangers have their penultimate home game of the season on Tuesday night when they welcome Rainworth Miners Welfare to Haworth Park.

After picking up a 2-1 victory against Swallownest FC in their previous home game, Rangers will be looking to back that up with another three points. If they were to do so, it could move them into 10th place depending on other results.

Conversely, Rainworth occupy 17th position in the NCEL Division One table and are unbeaten in their last two league games.

The Wrens have picked up 16 points on their travels this season. They’ve won four, drawn four and lost ten out of a total of 18 games played on the road.

Hall Road joint boss Leon Sewell knows that his side face another awkward test.

“Rainworth at home on Tuesday night will be another tough test for us.

We’ll be looking to get another three points on the board” he said.
