Worklink, Cottingham have embraced the spooky spirit for this year’s Halloween celebrations and will join the much-loved Cottingham Halloween Trail.The eerily exciting trail will be open to the public between Friday 25th October and Friday 1st November.The Cottingham Halloween Trail encourages traders and businesses to take part in the trail by decorating their windows and outdoors with supernatural scenes. Worklink have taken on this challenge, transforming their centre to wow visitors, families and service users alike.Worklink are a learning resource centre which offers work-based employment support and training for adults with learning disabilities and autism who reside within the East Riding of Yorkshire. The Cottingham centre focuses on providing training and experiences in horticulture, garden maintenance and hospitality.Service users have worked with staff at Worklink to cover the centre in horror-inspired décor ready for the event. Mummies, witches, pumpkins, bats, spiders and many more can be found at their stop of the trail.Richard who utilises the services provided by Worklink said, ‘’I think the Halloween decorations are excellent this year,’’ with Simon, another service user adding that they ‘’look very nice.’’Stop by Café RouTEs, located inside Worklink, Monday to Friday at 9.30am to 3pm, for a welcomed break and enjoy the selection of tasty food and drink on offer. Cakes and drinks will still be available until the centre closes.
