Oakhill Nature Reserve & The Chemistry of Woodlands – Goole Museum
A brand-new free exhibition at Goole Museum running from Tuesday, 13 July to Saturday 21 September 2024 combines the story and nature of Oakhill Nature Reserve and the innovative artwork of local artist Lou Hazelwood. The exhibition explores the origins of the site from its time as a busy railway siding, that was full of noise and steam, to its abandonment and eventual reclamation by nature. The heart of the display reveals the wide varieties of mammals, insects, reptiles, plants, and birds that can be seen at Oakhill today.
