Extra date added for Oktoberfest Beverley after rush for tickets
A rush for tickets for the highly-anticipated Oktoberfest Beverley has prompted the addition of an extra date.
Organisers of the celebration of beer, food, music and community have announced a new Friday session, following a sell-out of early bird tickets for the Saturday event. Oktoberfest Beverley is now taking place on Friday and Saturday, October 18 and 19, at Beverley Racecourse.
Tom Cullen, marketing manager for Oktoberfest, said: “Following such huge demand, we are delighted to announce an additional day of Oktoberfest Beverley! Festival goers can expect more singing, dancing, beer and food than ever before.
We expect Friday evening tickets will sell just as quickly as Saturday tickets have sold – with VIP tables selling out first.” There are a total of three sessions over the two days.
People can attend on the Friday, from 6pm to 11pm and on the Saturday, from noon to 5pm for the afternoon session and from 6pm to 11pm for the evening session. Oktoberfest is said to offer an incredible selection of traditional German Bier that can be served in up to two-pint steins.
A range of other drinks, including cider, prosecco, spirits and wine, will be on offer. In addition to the diverse beer selection, Oktoberfest will feature a variety of food vendors offering delicious traditional German food to complement the beer choices – expect bratwurst, pretzels, and more.
Entertainment also forms part of the Oktoberfest fun. There will be oompah bands performing their very own blend of “oompop”, plus support bands and DJs across all sessions.
Tickets are available for unreserved bench seating and exclusive VIP tables. The latter include entry for up to ten people, table service from waiters/waitresses, incredible views of the stage and a free gift per person on the table.
Friday evening tickets are on sale now via the Oktoberfest Beverley website. You can find out more by emailing info@oktoberfestuk.co.uk Oktoberfest Beverley is an 18-plus only event.
