Costello Departs HCLFC

Hull City Ladies announce that Adrian Costello (1st Team Manager) has resigned from his position at the club.

Adrian Costello said: “I have with some consideration decided to relinquish my post as manager of Hull City Ladies. I would like to place on record my thanks to all the board, staff, supporters and players for making my time such a happy one. Although the season ended in relegation you have always kept a smile on my face and looked forward to training and match days. That said an opportunity has arisen which I feel is the right one for me at this time.

I wish you all the very best for the future and will from time to time be sat in the stands supporting.”

Hull City Ladies Managing Director Danny Johnson said:
“We have reluctantly accepted the resignation of manager Adi Costello, who has chosen to pursue a new opportunity, we fully respect and support his decision to leave the club and wish him well in his future endeavours. We would like to also offer our sincere thanks to Adrian for his efforts over the last three season’s which have been challenging for a number of reasons, including battling Covid 19 restrictions. He has kept players morale high and succeeded at creating a very strong and positive squad. We look forward to seeing the foundations of what Adrian has created over the last few seasons take shape as we fight for promotion once again. Adrian will remain a good friend and supporter of the club and we would welcome him down on match days in the future.”
