Hull City are the only local team playing during this midweek. The Tigers head to Ewood Park to take on Blackburn Rovers. City are yet to win since the opening day of the season and are yet to score since the League Cup game against Wigan. It may be too soon for a return of Honeyman and Alfie Jones. Honeyman was a key component last season and is yet to make an appearance this season. On a positive note, McCann’s side have kept two clean sheets in two games with 0-0 draws against Bournemouth and Swansea either side of the international break. Blackburn have had a mixed start to the season, last time out they let go of a two-goal lead to draw 2-2 with Luton.

Hull KR have extended the contract of Will Dagger for a further two years. The 22-year-old full-back has only made two appearances in Red and White this season but has impressed in both including a Man of the Match performance in the victory at home to Castleford on Saturday. Dagger will be expected to deputise to new signing Coote next season and providing cover across the back row. The Robins also announced the contract extension of Jimmy Keinhorst. Usually deployed in the centre Tony Smith has used the German international in a variety of positions since returning after being largely out of favour. Keinhorst will stay at Craven Park for a further year.

North Ferriby Development 5 AFC North 2
A hat-trick from Harry Fenton helped North Ferriby Development beat AFC North 5-2 in their East Riding County Division One fixture at the Dransfield Stadium on Saturday. The home side led 2-1 at half-time but went on to come away with a great victory in the end.

Ferriby went in front through an own goal on five minutes before AFC North equalised on 14 minutes but Fenton’s first on 36 minutes gave the Villagers their lead at the break. Led by man of the match Tom Bruce Ferriby dominated the second half with two more from Fenton and one for Dylan Revell with a second AFC North goal squeezed in between.
