Despite two games kicked-off last night, only one completed more than five minutes. The other went the full distance, including a penalty shoot-out. Hull City also hope to revive some hope in their season with a visit to the Hawthorns.

Hall Road Rangers suffered penalty shootout heartbreak on Tuesday night as they lost 4-5 after they played out a 3-3 draw in 90 minutes against NCEL Premier Division league leaders Grimsby Borough in the Second Round of the NCEL League Cup. There were nine changes made to the Hall Road starting 11 from Saturday’s victory at Retford FC as numerous players were given much-needed game time. Haydn Withill, Luke Bullement, Alex Britton, James McGarry, Harry Griffin, Fin Parker, Dave Harrison, Bailey Smith and Reece Moody all came into the side. North Ferriby were due to play Maltby Main last night. After only two minutes the game was postponed due to floodlight failure, therefore the fixture will be moved to a later date.

Hull City will have a difficult task this evening as they head to the Midlands. Recent weeks have seen some poor results and poor performances. Coventry was a prime example of Hull City fans frustrations with very little in the way of goal threat and a generally poor showing from the men in Black and Amber. West Bromwich are strong position following last season relegation from the Premier League.
