It was a good evening for two of our football teams however Hall Road Rangers were thrashed. Hull City Ladies have a fun day and a friendly game today. The friendly is against Manchester United Development team.

Beverley Town returned to league action last night hoping to gain a good start in defence of their league title from last season. LIV Supplies were the hosts of the game and lead after just 20 minutes. From that point it was Town on top, Adams equalised in the 32nd minute. Two goals on the stroke of half-time from Bowes and Finch saw Town lead 3-1 at the break. Finch and Bowes both scored a second goal each across the hour mark. A late strike from LIV Supplies was nothing but a consolation. A late goal made is 6-2 to Mike Thompson’s side from substitute Baldwin.

Hall Road Rangers had a difficult evening away at Hallam FC. Leon Sewell’s men were at a stalemate at half-time, but the deadlock was broken in the 48th minute by Bradbury. The second half from that point was all Hallam, Smith and Wilson scored two in three minutes. Royles scored his first as Hallam made it 4-0. Deakin with a goal in the 75th minute made it 5 goals in half an hour. Hallam were not done yet, nor was Royles who ended the game with a hat-trick. Full-time Hallam FC 7-0 Hall Road Rangers.

North Ferriby hoped to return to winning ways with a visit of FC Humber United to Dransfield Stadium. The Villagers were on top for most of the game but did not open the scoring until the 56th minute through Shortland, a second came shortly after from the ever-impressive East. The full report from North Ferriby is on our website: North Ferriby 2-0 FC Humber United.
