Beverley musicians are amongst the line-up of more than 170 bands and acts taking part in the world’s largest tribute music festival taking place over four days at Sledmere House, starting tomorrow. They include popular local outfit, the Beckwater Bushwackers, who play the VIP Big Top on Saturday evening, and Beverley blues band, The Juke Joint Kings, who will be appearing in the Acoustic Marquee on Friday night. Up to 5,000 people are expected to enjoy non-stop music and comedy presented on five different stages. The full line-up can be viewed here  

Beverley Film Society has announced the line-up of movies planned for its 2021-22 season, which starts next month. Getting things underway on September 9th will be French romantic comedy drama La Belle Epoque. The full schedule and more in formation is available here

And finally, some of the world’s largest inflatable kites take to the skies above Bridlington next month when the resort’s annual Kite Festival returns after being postponed in 2020, due to covid. The event takes place on Saturday, 11th and Sunday, 12th September, from 10am to 5pm both days. More information here
