Tuesday’s Local Headlines – 28 January

Beverley Town Council has voted to make use of cash reserves to reduce its element of local Council Tax by 2% over last year’s bill, despite spending on new CCTV, litter bins and extra community celebrations to mark the 75th anniversary of VE day and to stage the town’s first Pride event.

Residents of Beverley will be able to see their contribution to the town’s running on their Council Tax bill for the new financial year starting April.
