A quiet start to the week following a busy and exciting weekend. Only one fixture to preview and a bit of business to report on ahead of next season.

North Ferriby have had a good start to the season and will hope to continue this in the NCEL League Cup. The Villagers hope to make it five wins a row when they host Selby Town. Selby have had a better start to the season and are currently sat in second place. Ferriby have kindly provided us with a full preview and the report of the Development team in the FA Youth Cup.

Hull Kingston Rovers have confirmed the extension of Ben Crooks contract for another season. The 28-year-old back was Rovers top try-scorer last season and is third highest this season. Having shown his versatility this season Crooks will stay at the Robins for the 2022 season. Going the other way is outside back Greg Minikin. The former Castleford man had been offered a one-year extension by the Robins for next season, however, he has chosen to sign for Super League rivals Warrington Wolves instead. The England Knights international has played a big part so far this season as KR push for the play-offs.
