BEVERLEY Masterchef champion Eddie Scott will be hosting three feast nights at South Cave’s Little Wold Vineyard in July, celebrating the Royal Mughlai cuisines of India.

Eddie, who has featured as a celebrity judge in the current series of Masterchef, which culminates tonight with the crowning of a new champion, told us: “I will be cooking a three-course menu, with canapés and petit fours. Each course will represent a Royal city of India, from Rampur to Old Delhi and Lucknow; including my famous signature – my Hyderabadi lamb biryani, which won me the title of MasterChefUK 2022 Champion.”

Two of three nights in July have already sold out but tickets do remain for Friday July 25 and he promises more dates will be released going forward.

POLICE have issued an appeal for information following a house burglary in Rokeby Close, Beverley. Community Support Officer Lee LeGrove said a conservatory was entered by force and electrical equipment stolen as well as tools and a van from the garage using keys found in the house. Anyone who can help investigations is asked to call 101.
