School’s life-saving initiative
Molescroft Primary School is thought to be the first in the region to plan life-saving training for all its pupils. Over the course of four days, interactive training will be given; in the case of pupils in reception and year one, they will learn the importance of shouting for help, how to call 999 and how to stop bleeding and apply a bandage. Older pupils in years two to six will be given more in-depth tuition, including things like the recovery position.
