Retailer to move into empty Wilko’s store
The empty former Wilko’s store in Cross Street, Beverley, has been snapped up by a national retail chain, it has been revealed.
The identity of the new occupier is not currently being disclosed, but the agents marketing the building, which has been empty since 2015, confirmed it was a national multiple retailer with currently more than100 branches.
The property was being marketed with the option of being converted into two smaller units, but it’s understood the new tenants have taken over the whole building. It’s expected to be a few months before the site is trading again.
