PR: Worsbrough Bridge vs Hall Road

Hall Road Rangers will seek an immediate reaction when they travel to Worsbrough Bridge Athletic on Saturday. This comes after Rangers suffered a 2-5 defeat against Glasshoughton Welfare in their last league game which took place last Saturday.

Worsbrough Bridge have won their last two league games on the bounce against Brigg Town and FC Humber United respectively. Luke Forgione’s side sit in 7th place in the NCEL Division One table as they’ve collected 37 points from the 21 games they’ve played so far this season. The Briggers have the joint 8th best home record in the league having won six of the ten games that have taken place at The Pinto Property Stadium. These sides last faced each other on the opening day of the season back in July. The Briggers left Haworth Park with all three points in a 0-1 win thanks to a goal from Owen Wildblood.

Hall Road joint-manager Leon Sewell says that things have been addressed with his players ahead of this game.”We addressed the lads in training on Wednesday night and we’ll hopefully have a player or two back in the squad. We’ve got to go again away at Worsbrough Bridge on Saturday” Sewell said.
