PR: Teversal vs Hall Road

Ahead of the trip to Teversal FC on Saturday, Rangers joint boss Leon Sewell admits that his side still have room for improvement heading into the latter stages of the season.

“There’s still a bit more for us to work on. It was really important that we got the finer details right in training on Wednesday night.

Whether Teversal had a poor afternoon or not last week, we’ll be travelling with a strong 14/16 players and ultimately looking to keep our unbeaten away run going.

Form wise, we must be 6th or 7th in the form table and we’ve just gone up to 10th in the league table.

We’ll be doing everything in our powers to make sure we finish the next 14 games as strongly as possible and we finish as high up in the table as we possibly can and ultimately get our just rewards for what was a bit of a stop start beginning to the season” he said.

Teversal sit at the bottom of the NCEL Division One table and have collected six points from 25 league games. Moreover, the Tevie Boys have lost nine of their 11 home games.

A victory for Hall Road could move them up into 8th place in the league table and potentially leave them just five points adrift of the play-off places depending on other results.

After completing the double over Clipstone FC last week, Rangers could do the same to Teversal this weekend. This is because Hall Road won 3-0 in the reverse fixture in September at Haworth Park.
