PR: Swallownest vs Hall Road Rangers

Hall Road Rangers’ll be looking to make it four league games unbeaten when they travel to Swallownest FC on Saturday. Swallownest sit in 18th place in the NCEL Division One table and have a total of ten points from their first 17 league games. They’ve lost their last three games in all competitions including defeats in the league against Rossington Main and Brigg Town.

Moreover, Swallownest haven’t won any of their home games thus far. They’ve only picked up two points from seven games at Rotherham Road in a record which consists of two draws and five defeats.

Rangers joint boss Leon Sewell expects another difficult test for his side.

“Swallownest are a South Yorkshire team and it’s never an easy place to go. They’ve had a change in manager and a change in personnel. They’ve lost a couple of players and brought in some players from the teams local to them.

Anybody can beat anybody so it’ll certainly be another battle. They’re in and around us so we’ve got to go there and be really positive and take the game to them. We’ve got to travel back with a minimum of one point” Sewell said.
