Nominate your favourite pub chef
Beverley MP Graham Stuart is encouraging local pub-goers to nominate an outstanding local pub chef to go forward for the title of Parliamentary Pub Chef of the Year. The contest is in its second year with two prizes up for grabs: Pub Chef and Young Pub Chef.
Although it is MPs making the official nominations, Mr Stuarts wants local people to send him their suggestions for consideration. You can let him know via email at firstname.lastname@example.org by Wednesday 25th October. Chefs are then asked to complete an entry form, which is judged by experts including the acclaimed TV guest chef presenter and former Michelin Star holder, Paul Merrett. Second round judging takes place in December with the final cook off in January before the awards are presented at the House of Commons in February.
