PEOPLE have just a week left to comment on the masterplan that will shape development in the East Riding until the end of the next decade. East Riding Council’s consultation on the final draft of its Local Plan is set to close just before midnight next Monday, December 5.
Council Planning Portfolio Holder Cllr Claire Holmes said the authority wanted to hear what people have to say on the draft, which includes housing allocations. The final consultation on the draft Local Plan comes ahead of the submission of the final version of the document early next year. A Government inspector is then due to examine it to make sure it is acceptable and complies with planning policies before being adopted in 2024.
