Molescroft dog park can continue
The owner of Molescroft Carr Farm has been given planning permission for continued use of a field as a dog exercising area after East Riding councillors carried out a site visit. Tamara Hall had been asked to submit a planning application, despite the field being in use for some time, because of objections from local residents.
She told the committee: “Since opening the field I have been surprised by how much demand there is and how much benefit and enjoyment it is bringing. I get lovely messages every few days from people who have used the field and have absolutely loved it. I don’t think the farm has ever done anything which has been so appreciated.”
Councillors were told only one complaint had been received since the park opened and it was considered the field was suitable for its continued use. A condition that it should operate only between 7am and 9pm was imposed.
