Luxury glamping plan for farm site
Beverley farmer Tamara Hall has submitted plans to build nine luxury glamping pods on a ten acre site on the Molescroft Farm Estate. In a planning statement viewable on the East Riding of Council website the development is described as being “high quality camping accommodation and associated facilities that make the most of the site’s natural, rural setting in order to attract visitors towards the higher end of the market, who are seeking a unique tourism experience.”
Each pod will have its own shower, toilet and kitchenette, a decked balcony and screened hot tub and barbecue area. Electricity for the site’s power and heating will be supplied by the Farm’s own, existing solar panels. If planning permission is granted it’s hoped to have the glamping site open by Easter 2019.
