LOCAL FOOTBALL: Humber Premier League results, Saturday November 3

Beverley Town had a field day when they travelled to bottom of the table East Riding Rangers, winning 6-1 with goals from Stu Oliver, Jez Hartley, Michael Stark, Jordan Organ and a brace from Michael O’Connell. Beverley remain fourth in the Humber Premier League but are now just a point behind third-placed Reckitts.

Next week it’s a break from league action and a return to Norwood Park after an enforced absence from Beverley of more than a year while pitch improvements were completed. Town take on Westella and Willerby in the East Riding Senior Cup.

Walkington were narrowly defeated 2-1 in an away fixture at Hull United.
