‘Knockout’ day for charity

Teams are being recruited for an It’s A Knockout-style fun day at Beverley Racecourse to raise money for the Hull-based charity CASE Training Services. Styled on the hugely-popular TV shows, it will see teams competing over bouncy-castle type obstacles at the event on Sunday July 29th.

Twenty-four teams of ten are needed to take part and team members, who must be aged 16 or over, are encouraged to each raise £50 for the charity. It’s also hoped spectators will be able to enjoy sideshows and food stalls. CASE is a charity which supports local people with learning disabilities and more information on the It’s A Knockout event is available from the CASE website,
