Danny’s Dream offers a unique combination of domiciliary care with that of care and support at the Danny’s Dream Club and other leisure and community activities. We offer a fully person-centred approach that is respectful of difference and diversity and focuses on the needs of the individual, rather than a more service-centred provision. Danny’s Dream Personal Assistant – DDPA 

Hours: 37 hours per week (mainly day time Monday – Friday, but some evening and weekend work will be required as part of a pre-agreed rota) 

Salary: £17,500.00 (if qualified to L2 in Health and Social Care or sector equivalent) 

If Unqualified National Minimum Wage per age group applies. 

The main purpose of this post is to assist people with disabilities and/or complex health and social care needs to live at home with independence by ensuring that they have quality care and support. This may involve undertaking personal care, and/or administering medication and/or escorting, and/or arranging and joining in activities. You will be required to provide service users with an effective duty of care that provides a safe and dignified environment that demonstrates an appropriate level of choice and control. You will be required to work with the Management Team to ensure that Care Quality Commission Essential Standards of Quality and Safety are upheld and that respect is given to the cultural and social values and beliefs of individual service users. You will ideally hold a Level 2 qualification in Health and Social Care and demonstrable experience of working in the health and social care setting and have working knowledge of safeguarding protocols and procedures along with an understanding of confidentiality and data protection in respect of service user records.
