Community Responder

We are looking for candidates that are enthusiastic and committed to providing a high quality service with a flexible approach and the ability to adapt to a changing environment.

For this role you will need excellent communication skills, no previous medical experience or training is necessary although you will need a caring attitude and be able to demonstrate you are organised, customer focused and able to work to specific timescales..

The role is focused on supporting older and vulnerable people within their own homes. Responding to Emergency situations, Falls, Telecare Alarms and Welfare checks when customers are discharge from hospital. The service provides a reactive service for the community to help prevent Hospital Intervention.

Please note the role involves the moving and handling of customers and use of provided lifting equipment for which a certain standard of fitness is required.

Requirements:

Full UK Driving Licence

Access to a car

Be prepared to undertake a Disclosure and Barring Service Check.
