Hull City 3-1 Wigan Athletic

A week after winning promotion, Hull City ensured that they will finish the season as 2020/21 Sky Bet League One Champions following a 3-1 win against Wigan Athletic at the KCOM Stadium.

Keane Lewis-Potter got the ball rolling with the opening goal and, although Wigan were soon level, further goals from George Honeyman and Josh Magennis ensured that, for the second Saturday night running, there would be scenes of celebration inside the Tigers’ changing room.

Grant McCann made just one change to the side that clinched promotion at Lincoln a week earlier, with captain Richie Smallwood making his first start since February after recovering from a knee injury. He came in for Regan Slater who dropped to the bench.
