Hull City 1-1 Blackpool
Tom Eaves’ finish six minutes from time secured ten-man Hull City a point against Blackpool. After Shayne Lavery converted Demetri Mitchell’s cross in the first half, Eaves close-range finish rewarded the Tigers a well-deserved point in the Sky Bet Championship, with Lewie Coyle being sent off after receiving a second yellow card.
Grant McCann made three changes to the starting XI that played against Stoke City last time out. Andy Cannon, George Moncur and Ryan Longman all came into the team for Richard Smallwood, Matt Smith and Tyler Smith.

There were few chances in the opening exchanges as Greg Docherty drilled a low shot wide, before Lavery saw an effort blocked by Alfie Jones. Malik Wilks received a great chance to open the scoring, after Longman gained possession high up the pitch, but Wilks was swarmed by the Blackpool defence before Moncur saw the eventual chance blocked by Marvin Ekpiteta.
At the other end, Matt Ingram produced a great save to deny Mitchell, before the Blackpool winger provided the assist for the game’s opener, as his curling cross found Lavery to volley first-time into the top corner.
