Going Crackers for cheese!
A former BBC Masterchef quarter-finalist from Beverley has joined with his brother in launching a new street food business, based in a converted horse box. Mike Williams and his brother, Chris, have unveiled Crackers, which will be seen from this month at events, shows and street food festivals in the area. Their menus are based around food containing cheese and includes things like halloumi chips and roasted red pepper hummus, brie and serrano brioche, blue cheese, pear and walnut toasties, and burratas, with griddled peach, serrano, chilli and lime.
And in a separate venture Mike has teamed up with Beverley’s White Rabbit Chocolatiers for a special evening at Elwell’s Restaurant within East Riding College’s Flemingate campus on Saturday October 21st. Mike will use White Rabbit’s chocolate within his four-course tasting menu; tickets for which cost £40. For more information email firstname.lastname@example.org or call 01482 679235.
