Give your support – and your bra – for charity
Millers Day Care Centre in Beverley is joining with the Hull and East Riding Breast Friends charity in a bid to collect 500 unwanted bras to help both people suffering from breast cancer and ladies in Third World countries.
The centre in Mill Lane will act as a collection centre throughout June and people wishing to make donations can call in at any time during the day. A spokesman told Beverley FM: “Of the bras collected, some are given to local breast cancer patients with many of them often being adapted for their individual use, whilst the others are sent to Third World countries and given to ladies who need them.”
