The next of Kin of a Beverley woman are being sought by the Hull Coroner’s Office. They’ve put out an appeal to help locate the family of Christine Smith, who lived on St. Andrew’s Street in the town. She was born on 7th September 1948. Any relatives are asked to contact the Coroner’s Officer in Hull. Telephone 01482 614235

Non-essential shops, personal care, outdoor hospitality, and a number of public services are preparing to reopen on Monday, as more restrictions are lifted when Lockdown measures are eased. Council Customer and Multi-Service Centres will be available by appointment only. East Riding Libraries will open their doors for limited browsing, although they’ll still offer their order and collect service. They’ve also revealed that the downloading of e-books more than trebled over the last year. More details here 

Long-distance travel and overnight stays will also be permitted and Hull Trains has announced that they’re launching a new tracker app so that passengers can check how many people are aboard to help make social distancing easier.
