CHANGES to East Yorkshire Bus services will come into force from early next month, including some Beverley services. Following customer feedback, Service 23 will be retimed and extended to Molescroft, running directly via Manor Road, but due to low levels of usage between Beverley and Hessle, Service 25 will only run every two hours between these points, although buses will remain hourly between Hornsea, Beverley and Flemingate.
Additionally, the evening service between Beverley and Hornsea will only run on a Friday and Saturday. The changes are due to come into force on September 4. East Yorkshire also says that due to very low levels of usage, Service 121 will no longer run beyond Leconfield from Sunday to Thursday evenings while Service 24, serving Brandesburton and Leven will see a reduction in the number of buses each day.

EAST RIDING Council will be holding a series of drop-in sessions across the county for people to find out more about the council’s vision and ambitions around climate change and to share draft material being prepared for its Climate Change Strategy. This will include staff being present in Saturday Market, Beverley, on Saturday September 3 between 10am and 1pm.
And finally, a £315,000 road improvement scheme in Little Weighton, including the widening of Rowley Road, from the junction with Riplingham Road to Sockenwood Corner, will start next Tuesday and last up to five weeks. Diversions will be in place. Full details here
