THREE ADDRESSES in the Railway Street and Walkergate areas of Beverley were targeted by thieves in the early hours of the morning this week, resulting in two bicycles being stolen from garages – although one was later recovered nearby. Police say they believe the thieves were on mopeds and have been conducting house to house inquiries since in a bid to trace them.
