Free events at Beverley Youth Coalition Weekender

Beverley Youth Coalition is a new organisation which launches its first activities this weekend with events in Molescroft and Woodmansey. The Youth Coalition is an umbrella organisation hosted by Beverley Town Council, working with Molescroft Parish Council and Woodmansey Parish Council with financial backing from an East Riding of Yorkshire Council Positive Activities Grant. It stems from an idea first suggested by last year’s Mayor of Beverley Rob Begnett.

The Beverley Youth Coalition Weekender starts on Saturday at Molescroft Pavilion with games and activities suitable for nine to 18-year-olds from 1 to 5pm. The message is just turn up on the day – there will also be a free hotdog or burger and a free set of bike lights, while stocks last.

On Sunday March 25 the activities switch to the Let Loose adventure park in Woodmansey from 10am to 4pm. Once again it is free but numbers are limited for safety reasons, so booking is required – contact 01482 843475, quoting Beverley Youth Coalition.
