Flemingate attraction’s ball pool reopens

A Beverley attraction boasting the UK’s biggest ball pit is once again operating at full capacity after some initial teething troubles. Inflata Nation, the inflatable theme park at Flemingate, says its massive ball pool, with more than 200,000 balls, has reopened after a design overhaul lasting two months.

Michelle Ball, who runs the business with husband Matt, says: “We are always looking to push the realms of design with our giant inflatable arenas. As a result, we had a few small issues with the ball pool at our Beverley site.”

She continued: “The retaining walls around the side of the pit weren’t high enough, which meant balls were spilling over. Now, we’ve raised the walls and put a ladder in place so people can enjoy the pit as intended. It took some time but we think it was very much worth the wait.”

The ball pool is just one of many attractions at what is described as the only double-decker theme park in the country. Other attractions include a 25ft high climbing wall, ladders and slides.
