Christmas gift fair will support village school

Woodmansey Christmas Craft and Gift Fair takes place this Sunday (November 4) in the village hall, from 11am to 3pm, when 20 independence businesses and stallholders from across East Yorkshire will be providing a fabulous range of quality hand-made and festive crafts, gifts, cards and cakes.

The fair is hosted by Woodmansey Primary School PTFA  and as well as browsing the many beautiful gifts on sale, there will be an
opportunity to take part in various games, face painting and children will be able to make crafts to take home. Refreshments will also be available.

Admission on the day is £1 for adults, with children free, but there will be a small additional charge for games, activities and
refreshments. All fund-raising from the day will go towards a number of projects at Woodmansey Primary School.

Woodmansey PTFA is also looking for votes for its Aviva Community Fund project. Anyone can vote for the Woodmansey Great Outdoor Project on the Aviva Community Fund website. If successful, the grant will be used to buy resources, play equipment and materials for a new play area that will be used by children for many generations to come and will continue to help the school to grow and accommodate the new families moving to the village.
