A-Level results hit new levels

Students across Beverley and the East Riding are celebrating some outstanding A-level results, with early indications suggesting that schools and academies have seen increases in the average grade achieved.

Further improved results this year include increases in both average points score and average grade.  In recent years the average point score has risen steadily in East Riding schools and academy sixth forms and early indications are that this year is no exception.

Adding his congratulations was local MP Graham Stuart, who told Beverley FM: “With our Sixth Forms and Colleges achieving pass rates of over 75 per cent, this year’s set of A-Level results are definitely something to celebrate. Students across Beverley and Holderness have done a fantastic job and are showing that when you work hard and put in the effort at school you can excel.”
